What is Reiki…

Reiki is a transformative and healing practice that works on the fundamental principle of energy flow within the body. Derived from the Japanese words Rei (universal) and Ki (life force energy), Reiki is an ancient healing art that channels this universal energy to restore balance, harmony, and vitality to the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of an individual.

As a Reiki practitioner, my role is to act as a conduit for this healing energy. Through focused intention and a gentle, hands-on or hands-off approach, I help guide the flow of Reiki energy into your system, where it will naturally go to the areas in need of healing. Reiki is not based on any specific belief system; rather, it is a universal, life-force energy that transcends cultural and spiritual boundaries, making it accessible to anyone, regardless of background or experience.

How Reiki Works:

Our bodies are made up of energy, and this energy is constantly flowing, much like the water in a river. When we experience stress, trauma, illness, or negative emotions, the flow of this energy can become blocked, depleted, or imbalanced. These disruptions in energy can manifest physically as tension, pain, or illness; emotionally as anxiety, depression, or irritability; or mentally as confusion, lack of clarity, or a sense of being stuck.

Reiki works by addressing these imbalances, clearing blockages, and reestablishing the flow of energy within the body, allowing the natural healing processes to take place. It is based on the understanding that the body has an innate ability to heal itself when given the right support and environment. By facilitating the flow of energy, Reiki helps the body to restore balance, promote relaxation, and encourage healing on all levels..
